Jana Dambekaine
Graphic Design Lecturer
Jana's motto is: “The More You Know, the More You See, but The More You see The More You Know.

Graduated from Latvia art academy, Jana has been working in various industries related to the design field as a interior designer, teacher and graphic designer. In recent years more worked in the Ad industry.

Starting her career as an designer, art director in a number of advertising agencies as JWT San Riga, later she became creative director in Latvian largest ad agency.

Jana has worked not only with local firms, but also with international brands such as L'Oréal, Vodafone, Bayer HealthCare.

Jana:” I believe that success in life can be achieved with a 99% work.”


Fabian Tuen
Graphic Design Lecturer

Fabian graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He has been a graphic designer and an advertising designer in United States and in Hong Kong for 5 years, specializing in advertising, branding & packaging. Handled design and advertising projects from multinational companies such as Citi Bank, Diners Club International, State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), GE Money, Samsonite, and La Prairie.

He has been involved in academic design teaching since the year of 2006, teaching visual communication, graphic design, and advertising design. Throughout his 4 years of teaching career, he had coached students in advertising and design competitions, with students winning awards from the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong (HK4As), RADO, and WorldSkills International etc.


Michael Robinson
Multimedia Design Lecturer

Michael Robinson has a broad range of experience as a creative professional for over 15 years. He directed and animated two ID campaigns for MTV networks, as well as titles for the LA Polish Film Festival, independent films, advertisements and other clients. His original films and animations have won awards and been screened in festivals.

He got his MFA in animation from University of Southern California’s film school. During grad school, he started teaching at USC’s Institute of Multimedia Literacy. After graduation, he taught at the Art Institute of California – Hollywood.

Before USC, he was a senior designer for MTV Networks in New York City, largely doing web design work. He produced and designed the MTV, VH1, and CMT e-commerce sites, was the senior designer at Comedy Central.com for two years, and redesigned VH1.com.

Before New York he lived in Minneapolis, where he earned his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota. He was a creative director at Microsoft, for their Twin Cities Sidewalk website. He also freelanced as a designer on interactive projects for Target Stores.
